week 2 is jammin! Sorry we haven't posted until now, it had been a full couple of days. Wellesley, Cambridge and Springfield made their Darts appearance this week.

Monday
After a brief introductions, we spent the afternoon in workshops getting acquainted with our new friends and faculty. Darts is all about trying new things and we are definitely going outside the box with trying new forms of art and meeting new people from all over the state. We ended a very long Monday with new games hosted by CITS and Singing together in the Kellogg Music Center. We also got to watch some of our staff dress up as ducks as we sung the Rubber Duckie Song!

Tuesday
Our first full day of activities at Darts started off with arts workshops until lunch. After lunch we headed to creative expression to get our imaginations in gear. Talent Prep was next followed by some preparation for West Side Story by Sean Murphy, Theatre Faculty. After dinner we headed to Barrington Stage CO. to see west Side Story. We were all blown away by the production, even the staff! It was by far the best we have ever seen at Barrington Stage Co. Tony was amazing, Maria was exquisite and the entire cast was very talented.

Wednesday HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!
Another full day at Darts. We are off to the lake after lunch to take a dip and cool off. we will pass our 50th hour of magic while in the lake, we've me great people and it feels like one big darts family. We'll get back to campus around 11:00 PM tonight to take showers and SLEEP!
