Days in the Arts

Thursday, July 21, 2005

Things just keep moving along, it is hard to believe that it is Thursday morning already. After attending arts workshops on tuesday morning students boarded Danny's bus for the Clarke art museum in Williamstown. While there students saw artwork by artist such as Monet and Degas. Upon their return students went straight to creative writing. After dinner we enjoyed a demonstration/performance by violinist Jerry Alias.

Wednesday was our first perfect lake day this summer. After the lake we traveled to Jacob's Pillow where students attended a master class with Dawn Lane, ate dinner and went to a show on the inside/out stage. We saw the group A Poc A Poc s from Mexico city. Their american debut is this week at Jacob's pillow. The day closed with talent show prep.

This morning students are doing their final preparations for the arts workshop and creative expression presentations tonight.
